My job
I am working with Youth Partnership Countrywide (YPC) as the information and documentation officer. My responsibility in my organization is to ensure that all documentation of YPC activities is managed effectively and disseminated efficiently.
What is your organization
YPC is non- government organization dedicated to youth development which was established in 2003. It has a mission to empower the youth for and increased youth participation in the political and social- economic through partnership building and networking, dialogue, advocacy, training, exposure and voluntary activities. It also aims to have a societies where all youth(male and female) live in a decent civic and social economic life.

Why social media
Social media it simply to communicate with different people and our target group youth, so it is important to us because it easily to communicate with youth. Since many youth visit the internet, especially in the facebook , we use facebook to send a message, create an events so it help us to mobilize the youth. It is an awareness tool for youth. YCP also uses telephone to communicate with the youth from the rural because the internet it is not available in the rural area . Most of the information is compiled and presented on YPC’s website. This helps partners, stakeholders, donors and frequent visitors to get more information about YPC work.
